The Supportive Living  Professional supports individuals with personal care, life skills development, transportation, supervision, and community integration while promoting dignity, respect, and self-determination.

Essential Duties

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including hygiene, grooming, meal preparation, and household tasks
  • Support residents in developing independent living and social skills
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
  • Transport and accompany residents to appointments and community activities
  • Complete daily documentation and incident reports accurately
  • Follow individualized service plans and behavioral support plans
  • Ensure compliance with Arkansas CES Waiver standards and agency policies
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation (required for transporting clients)
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening (per Arkansas DHS guidelines)
  •  1 – 2 years’ experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in caregiving or supportive living preferred
